SOUTHERN ENGLAND ↔ SCOTLAND
Full house moves. Smaller part loads. Return journeys south. A carefully planned service between Scotland and the south of England, with the RH team.
ONE TEAM. BOTH DIRECTIONS.
Moving from Wiltshire or the Cotswolds to Scotland? Bringing furniture from Scotland down to London? RH plans long-distance removals around what you need to move, the access at each end and the dates that work for you.
Our wagon and drag combines a removal lorry with a matching trailer, giving us capacity for larger moves and the opportunity to plan smaller loads alongside other journeys. We confirm the right vehicle and service after reviewing your requirements.

THE RIGHT SERVICE FOR YOUR LOAD
Start with your inventory. We’ll help you decide which approach fits the volume, access and dates.
A move planned around your household, from the furniture and boxes to packing and any specialist handling. We agree loading, travel and delivery arrangements with you.
Plan a full move ↗For a smaller household, selected furniture or a few items. Where dates and routes align, sharing capacity can be an alternative to a dedicated vehicle.
Ask about a part load ↗Moving items from Scotland to southern England? We can look for space on a suitable return journey. Flexible dates can help us match your load to the route.
Discuss a return load ↗Part loads and return loads depend on space, access and scheduling. RH confirms the service, dates and quotation before booking.

REAL JOURNEYS. REAL RH MOVES.
Your own RH crew and vehicles, with protection and planning for the miles ahead. We check the details at both properties so the journey works as well at the door as it does on the road.
Share photographs of parking, driveways, lanes and entrances. For large or awkward items, include dimensions so we can plan suitable handling.
Explore packing & protection ↗LET’S MAKE THE DISTANCE SIMPLE
Send both postcodes, your furniture and box list, and your preferred dates. Let us know whether this is a full move or a smaller load.
We review access, packing and the route, then discuss a dedicated move, part load or return-load option where suitable.
We confirm the quotation, collection and delivery plan before booking. Then our crew takes care of the agreed move.
PACKING, STORAGE & THE DETAILS BETWEEN
Long-distance moving needs preparation at both ends. Choose the help you need and we’ll include it in your plan.
Full packing or fragile-only help, with suitable protection for your furniture and delicate belongings.
Packing services ↗Ask about containerised storage at our warehouse before onward delivery to Scotland or southern England.
Storage options ↗Tell us about restricted roads, parking, stairs, artwork, antiques or anything unusually large or heavy.
Fine art & antiques ↗A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Yes. RH plans removals in both directions between Scotland and Wiltshire, the Cotswolds, London and southern England. Tell us your collection and delivery postcodes, inventory and dates so we can discuss a suitable journey.
Yes. Part loads can suit a smaller move, selected furniture or a few items. Where the route, available space and dates fit, your load can share vehicle capacity with another move. RH confirms collection and delivery arrangements before you book.
A return load uses available space on a journey coming back from another move. We can consider southbound loads from Scotland as well as northbound moves. It depends on the route, space and timing; there is no fixed timetable shown here.
Scotland removals are quoted individually. The price depends on volume, both addresses, access, packing, dates and whether a dedicated move or part load is suitable. Our local instant quote is a starting point for inventory; it is not a confirmed Scotland removal price.
We can include full or fragile packing, furniture protection and specialist crating where required. If your dates do not line up, ask about containerised storage at our warehouse before onward delivery. We agree the services and charges in your quotation.
We check access at both addresses before allocating vehicles. Please tell us about narrow lanes, low bridges, steep drives, parking restrictions and long carries. Where access is unsuitable for a large combination, RH will discuss another vehicle or transfer arrangement.
Flexibility can help us match a smaller load to a suitable journey. Tell us your ideal dates and the range you can work within. RH will agree your collection and delivery plan before you confirm the move.
WHICH WAY ARE YOU HEADING?
